AVANTAGES OF TRANSFER TAPES
These tapes not havinf a carrier, are not subject to the constraints of standard double
sided tapes meaning they can be easily laminated to different substrates. The ease of
application, as well as excellent conformability and adaptability, provides an excellent
replacement for direct coating in most circumstances. Transfer tapes also offer excellent
performance at a low price.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS AND EXAMPLES OF USES
2838 is widely used for laminating of diverse materials on either flat or irregular surfaces.
Its excellent resistance to humidity allows it to be used for external applications.
This modified rubber adhesive, with a very high tack, is particulary useful for bonding of
polyurethane foams, felts, fabrics and o ther materials to polypropylene. It is particulary
useful on slightly rugged or porous substrates.
3821, is probably the most universal transfer tape for laminating of such diverses material
as foams, textiles, films and plastics. This product also offers excellent age and U.V. resistance.
3822 is a modified acrylic adhesive, strongly recommended for use with polyethylene and
polypropylene foams and films which have not been Corona treated..
3823 is a high coat-weight adhesive for bonding and laminating of such diverse materials as
foams, textiles, films and plastics, to irregular or porous substrates.
3829 is noninflammable adhesive, witch complies with the FMVS 302 - category1,specifications.
Due to its properties, it can reduce inflammability of some materials to within fire regulation
specifications.
4821 offers excellent resistance to U.V. 's and ageing. An excellent product for laminating of
such diverse materials as foams,textiles, films and plastics.The plastic film liner with excellent
tear and humidity resistance makes it particulary useful for large die-cut
pieces.
